The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has commenced the disbursement of April 2025 upkeep allowances to eligible student beneficiaries nationwide.
According to the agency, most payments have already been successfully processed. However, a few beneficiaries may experience slight delays due to a recent upgrade of NELFUND’s payment and application processing system. The upgrade aims to strengthen security and improve the efficiency of future disbursements.
NELFUND assured that it is working closely with relevant stakeholders to swiftly address the delays and ensure all qualified students receive their payments without further issues.
Reaffirming its commitment to transparency, operational efficiency, and timely student support, the Fund stated that these efforts align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration.
The organization also expressed appreciation for the patience and cooperation of stakeholders as it continues enhancing service delivery for the benefit of Nigerian students.
