Eid al-Adha 2025: Women Affairs Minister Celebrates Nigerian Women, Calls for Compassion and Unity

As we mark the sacred festival of Eid al-Adha, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to all Muslim faithful across Nigeria—especially our women, children, families, and the most vulnerable whose strength and resilience illuminate our nation’s path forward.

Eid al-Adha is a powerful symbol of faith, sacrifice, compassion, and shared humanity. These virtues deeply reflect our mission under the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to foster an inclusive, just, and caring society.

At the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, we understand that behind every act of sacrifice is a story of courage—often led by women who stand at the forefront of caregiving, community service, and national development. This season serves as a solemn reminder to renew our collective commitment to safeguarding the vulnerable, empowering women and girls, protecting every child’s dignity, and promoting unity across our diverse nation.

As we celebrate, let us embrace the values that bind us—selflessness, empathy, and enduring hope. May these principles guide our efforts to eliminate gender-based inequalities, expand access to social protection, and strengthen family-centered institutions across Nigeria.

To every Nigerian woman holding her home together, every child nurturing dreams, every family persevering with dignity, and every vulnerable person facing life’s challenges—you are the heart of our work and in our thoughts and prayers this season.

May this blessed Eid bring peace to our homes, healing to our country, and renewed strength for the journey ahead.
