Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has etched his name into Galatasaray history, becoming the club’s fourth-highest scoring foreign player after netting in a 3-0 Turkish Super Lig triumph over Caykur Rizespor on Sunday.
Osimhen capped the win with Galatasaray’s third goal in the 73rd minute, following an opener from Barış Alper Yılmaz in the 19th minute and a second from Yunus Akgün.
The goal took Osimhen’s total tally for Galatasaray to 52, surpassing former star Bafétimbi Gomis, who scored 51 goals, and securing his spot among the club’s elite foreign scorers.
He now ranks behind Mauro Icardi (73 goals), Gheorghe Hagi (72 goals), and Milan Baros (61 goals), cementing his status as one of the club’s most prolific internationals.
