Nollywood actress and public figure Annie Idibia has addressed widespread speculation regarding her marital status and parenting, asserting that she does not consider herself a “single mum.”

Annie emphasized that, while she is raising her two children independently, she identifies as a “single woman raising two kids”, rejecting societal labels that equate single motherhood with struggle.
“My children don’t need me married. They need me alive. They need me true. They need me free,” the post read, highlighting her focus on personal wellbeing and the emotional presence she provides for her children.
