Power Minister Urges Nigerians to Trust Tinubu’s Energy Reforms, Promises Improved Electricity Supply

Nigeria’s Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has urged Nigerians to remain patient and continue to trust the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the government implements reforms aimed at revitalizing the country’s power sector.

Speaking on ongoing efforts to improve electricity supply, Adelabu said the administration has developed a comprehensive plan designed to transform the sector and support growth across other areas of the economy.

“Nigerians should have trust in this administration. It will only take a little patience for them to start seeing the laudable plans that President Tinubu has for this sector,” the minister said.

According to Adelabu, the President views the power sector as a critical driver for economic productivity and has provided the necessary support to accelerate reforms.

“Mr. President said he wants to use this sector to drive optimal performance in other sectors, and he is giving us the support,” he added.

The minister expressed confidence that once the government’s initiatives begin to fully take effect, Nigerians will start witnessing tangible improvements in electricity supply and the overall performance of the power sector.
