The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Yilwatda, has stated that Bola Tinubu has positioned Nigeria on a path of economic growth and deserves a second term to consolidate ongoing reforms.
Yilwatda made the remarks on Wednesday during a ₦300 million youth empowerment programme in Plateau State, where he said the president’s economic and tax reforms are designed to ease the burden on low-income earners and create opportunities for young Nigerians.
He also disclosed plans to support beneficiaries with export opportunities, including a six-month training programme for participants with viable products.
“If your products are good enough for export, I will support and finance you. I will support Plateau youths in exporting their products or produce to other parts of the world,” he said.
He further called on participants to support the president’s re-election bid.
“I therefore want to call on all of you here that Mr. President deserves a second term. I am a politician. As I am supporting you, I want you to support my boss, President Bola Tinubu,” he added.
Yilwatda also encouraged youths, particularly farmers and entrepreneurs, to take advantage of available opportunities and embrace self-reliance as part of efforts to drive economic development.
