Senior pastor of Gracemade Christian Center and husband to Nollywood actress Seun Osigbesan has publicly celebrated his wife in an emotional testimony, revealing how she sustained their home financially during their most difficult years.
Speaking during a church event marking her 40th birthday, in a video now circulating online, the cleric praised the actress popular for her role in The Johnsons for her resilience, patience, and unwavering support when he had little or nothing to contribute financially.
According to him, she carried both emotional and financial responsibilities for years without complaints.
“You know, if I need anything, I am very comfortable to ask her because I know that she will come through. Even when I did not have anything, she was consistent and never complained. She carried a lot of burden, real bills, for at least seven years and never complained,” he said.
He added that her constant encouragement helped him remain motivated during periods of hardship.
“She always tells me, ‘Baby, I believe in you, you can do it, you are a great man, you are a millionaire.’ Now she says, ‘You are a billionaire.’ She kept speaking those words into my life, and that kept me going,” he said.
The pastor also recounted the depth of their struggles, including times when basic needs were difficult to meet.
“There was a time, we could not afford diapers, and she used black nylon as diapers for the children. At a point, what the family ate was pap for breakfast, pap for lunch and pap for dinner,” he said.
Despite the hardship, he noted that she never insulted or belittled him, but remained patient and supportive throughout.
“She never said, ‘What kind of man is this?’ She never made me feel like I was failing,” he added.
