FIFA has announced that Nigerian music star Davido will perform at the Los Angeles edition of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert series on June 10. The global football governing body revealed that the award-winning singer will join Diplo’s Major Lazer as one of the headline acts for the highly anticipated event.
According to FIFA, the Los Angeles concert is part of a groundbreaking synchronised live music series taking place across the three host nations of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Canada, Mexico and the United States. Additional performers are expected to be announced ahead of the event.
The Los Angeles show will be staged at the Crypto.com Arena and is designed to celebrate the intersection of music, football and culture. FIFA described the event as a high-energy gathering that will bring together fans and artists in one of the world’s leading entertainment hubs.
The concert will be linked with simultaneous performances in Mexico City and Toronto, creating a connected celebration across all three host countries. Through live broadcasts, audiences around the world will be able to experience performances from each location as anticipation builds for the tournament.
FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Tournament Officer for the United States, Manolo Zubiria, said the Countdown Concert series reflects the passion, unity and cultural connections that define the World Cup. He noted that Los Angeles would deliver an unforgettable showcase of music and entertainment just two days before the tournament’s opening match in the United States.
FIFA stated that doors for the Los Angeles concert will open at 5:00 p.m. PT, with the live broadcast scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. PT. Tickets are set to go on sale from 10:00 a.m. PST on June 3, while fans worldwide will also be able to watch the event through FIFA’s digital platforms, including a livestream on the FIFA World Cup TikTok account, the exclusive social media livestream partner for the concert.
