The Oyo State Government has demolished a three-bedroom bungalow in Lako Community along Aiyegun-Anaye Road in Ibadan over allegations that the property was used as a hideout for suspected kidnappers.
The house was reportedly linked to the abduction of the younger sister of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, and her children.
The demolition exercise was carried out on Monday by officials of the Oyo State Ministry of Public Works and Transportation.
The operation was conducted under tight security provided by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.
Authorities said the action is part of ongoing efforts by the state government to combat kidnapping and other criminal activities across Oyo State.
The government has continued its crackdown on suspected criminal hideouts as part of broader measures to strengthen security and ensure public safety in the state.
