President Bola Tinubu has extended birthday greetings to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on his 61st birthday and his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, who turned 64 on Thursday.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President commended Governor Sanwo-Olu for his outstanding contributions to the growth and development of Lagos State.
Tinubu noted that the governor has successfully combined his experience in both the private and public sectors to drive economic growth, improve infrastructure and promote the cultural development of the state.
He described Sanwo-Olu’s role in sustaining the transformation of Lagos into a vibrant, well-structured global city with increasing national and international influence as commendable.
The President also applauded the governor for reinforcing Lagos’ reputation as Nigeria’s Centre of Excellence and acknowledged his unwavering loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as well as his support for the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Tinubu prayed for God to grant the governor long life, sound health and greater achievements in the years ahead.
The President equally congratulated his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, on his 64th birthday, describing him as a committed and dependable public servant.
He praised the former Speaker of the House of Representatives for his contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development and his role in the establishment of the All Progressives Congress.
"As you celebrate your 64th birthday today, I deeply appreciate your loyalty, dedication, and sacrifice.
"Throughout the years, you have demonstrated capacity for service, placing national interest above personal considerations and working tirelessly for the progress of our country.
"Your dedication to duty and ability to coordinate complex governmental processes have contributed immensely to the realisation of our Renewed Hope Agenda," the President said.
Tinubu also prayed that God would continue to bless Gbajabiamila with good health, wisdom and strength as he continues to serve the nation.
