The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will continue to receive divine guidance in steering Nigeria and addressing the country’s economic and security challenges.
Umahi made the remarks on Thursday during an inspection of ongoing bridge projects in Lagos, including the Carter Bridge, which is scheduled for reconstruction next week. He said he believes God will continue to support the President in delivering national development.
According to him, leadership comes with inevitable challenges, but what matters is the ability to confront and resolve them as they arise. He urged Nigerians to support the administration’s efforts in improving governance and security across the country.
“The same God that brought him is going to be there to solve all the problems,” Umahi said, adding that every leader desires peace during their tenure but must be prepared to handle crises when they occur.
He further stated that whether Nigeria’s security challenges are politically driven or not, he remains confident that the President will be granted the wisdom and strength needed to overcome them.
Umahi also expressed optimism that all ongoing projects under the current administration would be completed successfully, saying, “Your hands that have started this will complete it.”
