The monarch gave the warning on Monday during the installation ceremony of nine Mogajis and two Baales at his palace in Oke-Aremo, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
In a statement released on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Gbenga Ayoade, the Olubadan emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and order within their domains, noting that no meaningful development can occur without peace.
The newly installed Mogajis include:

Speaking through the Ekarun Balogun of Ibadanland, High Chief (Senator) Sharafadeen Alli, the Olubadan congratulated the newly appointed leaders, reminding them of their responsibility as representatives of the Olubadan institution.
“You are the accredited representatives of the Olubadan of Ibadanland. You must ensure peace reigns supreme in your domains, as no meaningful development can be achieved without peace,” he stated.
He further cautioned them to avoid actions that could tarnish the image of the traditional institution, such as land grabbing, disrespect for elders, and oppression of the family members they represent.
The occasion was graced by members of the Olubadan Advisory Council, former Deputy Governor Taofik Arapaja, traditional rulers, religious leaders, business personalities, and other well-wishers.
