Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has expressed confidence that his team will be ready to battle whichever opponent they face in the UEFA Champions League playoffs, either Juventus or Atletico Madrid.
Okan Buruk’s side failed to secure automatic qualification to the Round of 16 after Wednesday’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. However, the Turkish Super Lig champions earned a spot in the playoffs.
Galatasaray will learn their playoff opponents during Friday’s draw, which could see them face Juventus or Atletico Madrid.
“Juventus are a very good team, so also Atletico. Whoever comes, we’ll do our best,” Osimhen said after the match against Manchester City.
The Yellow and Reds are determined to make their mark in the playoffs despite missing out on direct qualification.
