Nigerian Grammy-nominated singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared his feelings after missing out on a win at the Grammy Awards.
In an Instagram post, the artiste revealed that the loss hit him hard, leaving him reluctant to attend the after-party. However, his wife, Chioma, encouraged him and helped restore his confidence with comforting words.
“I said, ‘Baby, listen, we lost again, let’s not go.’ She said, ‘Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.’ We outside. My ride or die. She dey my back, active geng,” Davido wrote, expressing appreciation for her unwavering support.
Chioma also responded in a separate post, reaffirming her love and confidence in her husband. “You already know that you’re the perfect one,” she wrote.
