Nigerian music star Davido is reportedly grieving the loss of a close friend, Denisi, also known online as Ego222. Friends and associates confirmed Denisi’s passing on social media, sharing heartfelt tributes and photos commemorating his life.
Denisi, who had relocated to South Africa, was known for building strong personal and professional connections, including his friendship with Davido. Reports indicate that he attended significant events in the singer’s life, including Davido’s wedding, further highlighting their close bond.
Although the exact cause of death has not been officially confirmed, some reports suggest he suffered a cardiac-related issue. As of Friday, Davido had not publicly commented on Denisi’s passing.
Apart from his personal connections, Denisi was also a budding musician, with songs available on streaming platforms, including a 2025 release titled “Shik Shok.” Fans have taken to social media to express condolences, mourning the loss of the talented young artist.
