Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr has ignited widespread conversation on faith and personal spirituality after offering candid reflections on her relationship with God during a recent livestream with content creator Jarvis.
Speaking openly, the award-winning artist described her spiritual journey as deeply personal, emphasizing that her faith transcends traditional religious routines. While affirming a strong belief in God, she noted that her aspiration is to embody Christ-like values in her daily life.
“I can only try to be as perfect as Jesus is. I am not there yet, but I’m trying my best,” she said, framing her spirituality as a continuous process of growth rather than a fixed destination.
