Popular Nigerian skitmaker Shanks has stirred conversation online after candidly revealing what drives his hustle, stating that his motivation is not family, legacy, or long-term plans.
In a viral clip, the content creator bluntly declared that his primary goal is to live in Ikoyi, one of Lagos’ most prestigious neighbourhoods.
“Anything you do in this life, make sure that you have made money to come and live in Ikoyi,” he said.
He further emphasised his stance, adding, “I’m not even working hard for my parents or my children. I’m working hard to come and live in Ikoyi. This is my future.”
His remarks have since generated mixed reactions online, with some viewers finding his honesty refreshing, while others questioned his perspective on success and personal priorities.
