Actress and filmmaker Bolaji Ogunmola has spoken highly of her colleague, Daniel Etim-Effiong, praising his discipline and professionalism when working on romantic film roles.
Speaking on the Jay On-Air podcast, Ogunmola said both of them maintain clear boundaries on set, even when playing emotionally intense or romantic scenes together.
According to her, she always separates the character from the real person in order to make performances feel real and convincing to the audience.
She said, “Major shout to Daniel, he’s a very disciplined person. Personally when it come to work and I am, anybody that knows me I have a very strict boundaries.”
She further explained, “When going on romantic film it’s not Daniel that I’m working with it is the character enthralling we are working together. I need to make it believable for the audience and I don’t want to waste my audience time or money I want you all to be able to fully believe what I am doing.”
Ogunmola stressed that delivering believable and high-quality performances is important to her, noting that audiences deserve to fully connect with what they see on screen.
Her comments highlight the level of professionalism she believes is necessary in portraying romantic roles convincingly in film.
