Cristiano Ronaldo has finally secured the Saudi Pro League title with Al Nassr after a convincing 4–2 win over Damac FC on Thursday.
The victory confirmed Al Nassr as champions after a tense title race that went down to the final stretch of the season. Their hopes had briefly been shaken the previous week when dropped points against rivals Al Hilal kept the contest alive heading into the final run-in.
With the pressure on, Al Nassr knew anything less than a win could prove costly against a Damac side fighting to escape relegation. The champions, however, handled the occasion with composure and control from the outset.
Sadio Mané gave Al Nassr the perfect start by opening the scoring in the first half, easing early tension and setting the tone for the evening.
The second half saw the team take full control, with Kingsley Coman adding another goal before Ronaldo delivered the decisive moment with a brace that sealed both the match and the league title.
At the final whistle, Al Nassr’s triumph was confirmed as they finished ahead of Al Hilal, with Ronaldo’s goals once again proving crucial in a season that ended with silverware at last for the Portuguese superstar.
