Toke Makinwa has reacted strongly after her name was mentioned in a leaked audio conversation involving Sandra Onyenucheya, where Sandra reportedly discussed her past business relationship with the media personality.
In the recording, Sandra was heard referring to a previous work disagreement with Toke, claiming that despite their strained relationship and online backlash at the time, she still went on to secure contracts and grow her business.
The remarks did not go down well with Toke, who responded on Instagram in an emotional and detailed post. She insisted that she had every right to speak up about her dissatisfaction with the work done, adding that Sandra handled major projects for her, including two homes.
Toke accused Sandra of being unprofessional during their dealings, alleging that the quality of work delivered did not meet expectations. She also pushed back against the idea that she had undermined Sandra’s business, stressing that her complaints were based on experience, not personal attack.
She further expressed disappointment that her name was brought into what she described as a private and disrespectful conversation, especially after she had previously chosen to move on from the issue following an apology linked to personal circumstances in Sandra’s life.
The media personality ended her response by saying she was tired of being silent while her name was dragged in public spaces, adding that people often speak differently behind closed doors than they do in public. The situation has since stirred conversations online, with many weighing in on the leaked audio and Toke’s reaction.
