Nigerian actor and reality TV personality Teddy A has triggered reactions online following his candid remarks during a relationship conversation on the Echo Room Podcast.
During the discussion, Teddy A stated that he prefers ambitious women and would rather be with a partner who is financially driven than someone who chooses to stay at home. According to him, he values relationships where both partners contribute and work toward success together.
“I love to support a woman. I have no problem having a high-value woman. I don’t want a stay-at-home wife. We both got to get it,” he said while explaining his stance on modern relationships and marriage.
The reality star further noted that relationships should be built on teamwork, stressing that couples should be able to enjoy the rewards of their hard work together after building a stable future side by side.
However, the conversation became heated when Teddy A mentioned that issues often arise when a woman is “not submissive.” His statement immediately drew reactions from some of the women present during the podcast discussion.
As the debate continued, one of the female speakers referenced biblical teachings on submission, arguing that husbands are also expected to love their wives sacrificially. In response, Teddy A fired back with a sarcastic remark, suggesting that after a man sacrifices everything for a woman, she could still move on and remarry after he had “died” for her.
