The Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on completing three years in office under his Renewed Hope Administration.
The congratulatory message was delivered during a courtesy visit to the President at his Lagos residence over the weekend by members of the NDDC Board led by its Chairman, Mr Chiedu Ebie.
A statement issued in Port Harcourt on Monday by the NDDC Director of Corporate Affairs, Seledi Thompson-Wakama, and shared with journalists, confirmed the visit.
The delegation included the Managing Director, Dr Samuel Ogbuku, and the Executive Director, Corporate Services, Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde, who thanked the President for his leadership and continued support for development in the Niger Delta region.
Dr Ogbuku said the meeting also gave the Commission the opportunity to brief President Tinubu on ongoing projects and interventions being carried out across the Niger Delta in line with its mandate.
He added that the NDDC remains fully committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda, especially in the areas of infrastructure development, improved livelihoods, and sustainable growth, while also working to ensure that ongoing projects are completed on time to improve living conditions in the region.
