Manchester United icon Patrice Evra has once again mocked Arsenal following their defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final.
Evra shared a video on social media featuring the Champions League trophy alongside MC Hammer’s classic track “U Can’t Touch This”, in a clear dig at the Gunners after their loss.
Mikel Arteta’s side reached the final but were beaten 4-3 on penalties after a dramatic contest against the French champions, PSG.
Arsenal had initially taken the lead through Kai Havertz, but Ousmane Dembélé equalised for PSG with a penalty, sending the match into a tense shootout.
In the penalty shootout, Nuno Mendes had his effort saved by David Raya, but misses from Eberechi Eze and Gabriel Magalhães proved costly as PSG secured back-to-back Champions League titles.
Evra, who has repeatedly taunted Arsenal over the years, later joked that while the club may have won the Premier League, they would not lift the Champions League trophy for another 50 years, continuing his long-running rivalry with the North London side. He also reflected on previous comments where he claimed to sympathise with Arsenal but criticised their fans, insisting his remarks were “all in good fun,” while noting he has faced the club 21 times in his career, winning 13 and losing four.
