Popular comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate, Aderombi Adedayo Martins, known as DeeOne, has emerged as the Lagos State House of Assembly candidate for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I ahead of the 2027 general election.
DeeOne secured the ticket under the BOOT Party after winning the party’s primary election, positioning himself as the party’s flagbearer for the upcoming polls.
He announced his victory in a post on his Instagram page on Wednesday night, expressing appreciation to party members for the confidence reposed in him during the primaries.
According to him, the support of the party reflects trust in his ability to represent the constituency effectively if elected.
DeeOne also pledged to serve the people of Ibeju-Lekki with dedication, promising a leadership style focused on service rather than authority.
“To Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I, come 2027, by the grace of God, I will be your worker and not your boss,” he said, describing his emergence as a commitment to grassroots representation ahead of the election.
