Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has responded to claims made by Emmanuel Obasi, the ex-husband of his wife, Judy Austin, addressing allegations circulating on social media.
In a statement shared on his Instagram page, Edochie said he decided to speak out after receiving messages from fans urging him to allow Obasi access to his children, following the controversy generated by the claims.
The actor firmly denied any involvement in preventing Obasi from seeing his children, stressing that he has never stopped anyone from having access to their kids.
He added that many people make unfounded allegations online in a bid to attract attention and gain popularity on social media, rather than addressing issues through proper channels.
Edochie advised that Obasi should direct his concerns to his ex-wife, Judy Austin, stating that she is the appropriate person to discuss matters relating to the children.
He concluded that Obasi already has Judy Austin’s contact information and should communicate directly with her, insisting that the issue has nothing to do with him.
