Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party has emerged victorious in the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) formally declared Adeleke the winner on Sunday in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The INEC Returning Officer for the election, Professor Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole, announced the final results at about 7:49 a.m.
The declaration confirms Adeleke’s victory in the keenly contested election and sets the stage for the continuation of his administration in Osun State.
