Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has quietly added a third Guinness World Record (GWR) to her collection, after being officially recognized for the largest serving of rice, following her June 2025 attempt for the largest serving of Nigerian jollof rice.
In an Instagram post, Baci shared a congratulatory email from Andrew Fanning of the GWR creative team, revealing that the new record was identified proactively during the review of her original attempt.
The email noted that in achieving the largest Nigerian jollof rice serving, Baci had also surpassed the global benchmark for rice servings, earning her an additional title. “Many congratulations from me on behalf of Guinness World Records, you are Officially Amazing (again)!” Fanning wrote.
Reacting to the unexpected recognition, Baci expressed both shock and gratitude. She described the achievement as a reminder of God’s faithfulness, calling it a blessing and a powerful way to start 2026. “Woke up a three-time Guinness World Records holder and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. Five months after the initial record announcement, I found out there was more. Honestly, God is faithful. Even when you think you’ve seen the full picture, God can still say, ‘There’s more,’” she wrote.
This latest accolade further cements Baci’s status as one of Nigeria’s most celebrated culinary figures and a rising global icon in the world of food.
