Nigerian music star Davido has expressed appreciation to his father, Adedeji Adeleke, for publicly defending him amid the ongoing paternity controversy with his alleged baby mama, Ayo Labinjoh.
Ayo Labinjoh’s teenage daughter, Aanu Adeleke, had last week written an open letter to her alleged father, demanding a paternity test.
Davido, denying any prior encounter with the girl, stated in a series of posts on X that five DNA tests conducted previously confirmed that Aanu Adeleke is not his daughter.
In response, Ayo Labinjoh insisted that Davido is her daughter’s father and labeled the DNA results as fake.
Defending his son during a press conference on Wednesday, Adedeji Adeleke revealed that the paternity test had been conducted on both Davido and his cousin, singer B-Red.
Reacting to his father’s public support, Davido took to X on Thursday to thank him for standing by him amid the controversy.
