Nollywood actress Blessing Nze has shared how online trolling shaped her personal life, marriage, and professional collaboration with her husband, fellow actor Stan Nze.
In an interview with media personality Ifedayo Agoro, Blessing revealed that she faced harsh criticism on social media about her physical appearance, particularly her teeth. The trolling began during her first wedding anniversary photo shoot, when netizens mocked her laughter and described her dentition as unattractive.
“They showed me during my first anniversary. They said I should stop laughing, that my dentition is bad,” she recounted.
Blessing said the online mockery motivated her to improve her smile, adding that she now feels confident and proud of her transformation.
“Sebi, now my teeth are fine. It’s trolling that gave me this fine dentition now,” she said.
The actress also addressed misconceptions about her professional relationship with her husband, noting that many believe collaborating with Stan means she does not pay him. She clarified that her husband is compensated like any other actor on joint projects.
“Sometimes people say, you’re enjoying o. You don’t need to pay your husband. It’s a lie o, my husband collects money,” she said.
Blessing explained that from the start of their relationship, they agreed to operate as a united team, supporting each other through life’s challenges.
“From the onset, we’ve always just known that it’s me and you against the world,” she said, emphasising that she has no issue spending her own money on her husband when necessary.
