Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has stated that he is willing to end his feud with fellow artist Blaqbonez, but only if the apology comes directly from him.
In a recent podcast interview with Pulse, the “Wotowoto” singer revealed that his Christian upbringing makes forgiveness possible, but it must come from genuine remorse. He emphasised that while reconciliation is not off the table, Blaqbonez has yet to approach him personally, opting instead to send intermediaries from the music industry to mediate.
Odumodublvck described the conflict, which started last year, as deeply personal, rather than a typical rap beef. He accused Blaqbonez of attempting to downplay the seriousness of the dispute through diss tracks.
“My rift with Blaqbonez is personal. But I won’t rule out reconciliation because there is nothing God can’t forgive. However, forgiveness only comes from a contrite heart,” he said.
“You are sending big artists to beg me, but because you want to maintain a social image, you refuse to apologise privately. Real men don’t behave like that. If you can’t humble yourself, you will be stunted.”
Odumodublvck’s comments suggest that a resolution could be possible, but only if sincerity replaces image-consciousness in Blaqbonez’s approach.
