Nigerian Mother and Two Children Killed in Fatal Texas Crash Involving Suspected Drunk Driver

A tragic accident in Texas has claimed the lives of a Nigerian mother, Nihinlolawa Agoro, and two of her children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, leaving the community in shock.

According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026, along US-90A between Harlem Road and Pitts Road, involving two vehicles and injuring several others.

Preliminary reports indicate that an SUV carrying five occupants was traveling eastbound when a westbound truck reportedly crossed the median, lost control, and collided head-on with the SUV. The impact caused the truck to overturn and catch fire.

Officials confirmed that three passengers in the SUV a 44-year-old woman, a 22-year-old woman, and an 18-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene. Two children, a 4-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, were rushed to the hospital, along with the 20-year-old truck driver, all sustaining serious injuries.

Authorities are investigating whether alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash. Based on the victims’ attire, officials believe the family may have been on their way to church at the time of the incident.

The case remains under active investigation. A family member, Lola Oni, later confirmed the heartbreaking loss in a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 17, mourning the tragic deaths.
