Health Concerns Trigger Cell Transfer for Blord as Legal Drama Deepens in Kuje Prison Saga

Nigerian businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika (Blord) has reportedly been moved from a criminal cell within Kuje Prison over health concerns, just two weeks after being remanded by the Federal High Court in Abuja for 26 days.

Blord was arraigned on multiple charges, including impersonating social media commentator VeryDarkMan and alleged forgery, before being sent to Kuje custody.

According to an update shared on Instagram Stories by VeryDarkMan, the businessman has been unwell since April 6, 2026. He also circulated a WhatsApp message claiming that Blord had been transferred from a section known as “Egypt 2” to segregation within the facility.

The message further described “Egypt 2” as a high-security section of Kuje Prison allegedly housing armed robbery suspects and other hardened offenders, adding that the transfer was necessitated by his reported illness.

In his online commentary, VeryDarkMan also took a swipe at activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore, suggesting he had failed to secure Blord’s release and questioning claims about influencing the case. He also stated a willingness to “temper mercy” in his words.

Meanwhile, Sowore had earlier condemned both the speed and manner of Blord’s remand, while accusing VeryDarkMan and his legal team of alleged oppression in the unfolding legal dispute.
