The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced a revision of the orientation timetable for prospective corps members deployed to Enugu and Osun States under the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II exercise.
In a statement issued on Monday by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme confirmed that the orientation course in both states will now run from April 28 to May 18, 2026.
According to the NYSC, the adjustment was necessitated by ongoing extensive renovation works at the orientation camps being carried out by the respective state governments.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the orientation exercise for all other states and the FCT will hold from April 22 to May 12, 2026,” the statement clarified.
The scheme urged affected prospective corps members to take note of the revised schedule and comply accordingly.
The update follows the earlier release of call-up letters for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II deployment, marking the commencement of preparations for the nationwide orientation programme.
