British-Nigerian rapper, Skepta, has voiced serious concern over what he described as worsening injustice in Nigeria, urging celebrities and the international community to pay attention to the struggles of Nigerians.
Speaking in a video broadcast, the “Bad Energy Stay Far Away” he appealed for global support, stressing that Nigerians have endured hardship and injustice for a long time despite their resilience and positive spirit.
According to the rapper, he has continued to use his platform to speak against injustice whenever possible, whether through his music performances, public statements, or visual expressions.
“There is so much injustice in Nigeria. And whenever I can whether it is at my shows, verbally or images, whatever I can do, we are going to speak up for injustice at all time,” he said.
Skepta further called on influential voices around the world to stand in solidarity with Nigerians, insisting that the country’s citizens need protection and support from the global community.
“This is my message to the people; please, I know that we [Nigerians] are resilient and we make everything look good, but we need help, too. Please, help us,” he appealed.
