Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has shared his thoughts on communication in relationships, saying many men are gradually losing what he describes as the core qualities of true manhood.
Speaking on the Honest Bunch podcast, he said a real man should not keep malice with his wife, explaining that as the head of the home, issues should be addressed directly instead of being ignored.
According to him, when misunderstandings arise, couples should talk things through openly. He noted that a man is expected to call his partner and calmly explain what he is not comfortable with so both parties can resolve the issue.
Yul also said that if a relationship is no longer working, it should not be left in silence but discussed openly so both sides can understand where things went wrong.
He added that open communication often helps partners realize that misunderstandings may come from both sides, and talking about it can help clear the air and prevent bitterness.
The actor further stressed that lack of communication is one of the major reasons marriages fail, insisting that men should not avoid difficult conversations, which he described as a sign of weakness.
