Nigerian rapper and singer Zlatan Ibile has apologised to fellow artiste Seyi Vibez following a recent online clash between both musicians.
The disagreement reportedly began after Seyi Vibez accused Zlatan of mocking his Fuji Moto project through ad-libs on Adekunle Gold’s track, Life of the Faaji.
Seyi Vibez also reacted strongly online at the time, referring to Zlatan as a “backup artiste” and suggesting that his music career was secondary to his clothing business.
Responding to the claims, Zlatan denied any intention to disrespect Seyi Vibez, saying the situation was simply a misunderstanding between both parties.
He expressed regret over how things escalated and maintained that there was no bad blood between them, adding that he was open to resolving the issue peacefully.
“It actually hurts that my brother thinks I would diss him in anyway. It’s literally a misunderstanding. @seyi_vibez it’s all love bro, when you’re ready to talk it out I’m here!! 4L ABURO MI,” he wrote.
Seyi Vibez later acknowledged the apology, appreciating Zlatan for reaching out and accepting his explanation, while also responding light-heartedly to the situation.
