Nigerian media personality Yeni Kuti has reacted to reports of a newborn linked to fashion designer Luminee and actor Baba Ijesha during a discussion on TVC Entertainment.
Commenting on the development, she expressed support for Luminee and dismissed concerns surrounding the situation, stating that she sees nothing wrong with it.
Yeni Kuti noted that she has a personal relationship with Luminee, revealing that the designer created her outfit for her 60th birthday celebration.
She said her familiarity with Luminee influenced her perspective on the matter, suggesting that her support was based on personal experience rather than public controversy.
Addressing the legal issues surrounding Baba Ijesha, she referenced the complexities of public perception following his conviction and subsequent release, noting that different narratives exist around the case.
She added that individuals are entitled to their beliefs, saying that if Luminee chose to trust what she was told, it was her personal decision. “After the guy was jailed, he still came out and denied… she is entitled to believe him if she wants,” she said.
