Al-Ittihad have officially confirmed the termination of N’Golo Kanté’s contract, clearing the way for the French midfielder to join Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
The move comes after FIFA approved Kanté’s transfer, following an earlier administrative hiccup that delayed proceedings. He is set to sign a contract with Fenerbahce that will run until 2028.
In a brief statement on social media, Al-Ittihad announced: “The club agrees to sell the remaining period of N’Golo Kanté’s contract,” bringing an end to the uncertainty surrounding the player’s future over the past 48 hours.
