The Nigerian Army has released the list of successful candidates for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 29/2026 recruitment.
The announcement was made on Monday via the Nigerian Army’s official X handle, directing shortlisted candidates to report for training at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI), Jaji, Kaduna State, by 9:00 a.m. on February 22, 2026.
According to the statement, the list of successful candidates is available on the Nigerian Army recruitment portal: https://recruitment.army.mil.ng.
The Army urged all shortlisted candidates to strictly comply with the instructions, warning that failure to do so could lead to disqualification.
Candidates are required to report to the selection venue with the following items:
Writing materials
Four copies of recent coloured passport photographs
Four copies of recent full-size coloured photographs in short-sleeve attire, taken in a standing position
The photographs must have the following details written on the reverse side:
Surname
First name
Other name
Date of birth
Service number (for serving personnel only)
Current unit (for serving personnel only)
Other required items include:
Scratch cards for online confirmation of WAEC and/or NECO results
Three plain white short-sleeve vests
Three pairs of blue shorts
A pair of canvas shoes or trainers and three pairs of white socks
Bucket and toiletries
A set of cutleries, including plates and drinking cups
Beddings, including blankets, bedspreads, mosquito net, and pillowcases
The Nigerian Army reiterated the need for candidates to arrive fully prepared and in line with all stated requirements.
