Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has set a historic milestone as the first African artist to gross the highest revenue from a single tour in Oceania.
According to Touring Data, a global tour monitoring platform, Burna Boy’s “No Sign of Weakness” tour generated $3.1 million from 31,000 tickets sold across four shows in Australia, making it the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in the region.
The record was achieved during the Sydney stop at Qudos Bank Arena, where a single show alone generated $1.117 million in revenue.
The “No Sign of Weakness” tour spanned 20 shows across three continents, including North America, Europe, and Oceania. During the Oceania leg, the four Australian shows collectively sold 30,946 tickets, producing $3.1 million in total revenue.
This milestone highlights the growing global appeal of African artists, proving that they can sell out major arenas outside the continent. Burna Boy’s tours are now ranked among the highest-earning global tours by African musicians, further cementing his status as a global music powerhouse.
