Dangote Refinery has announced a major reduction in fuel prices, lowering both petrol and diesel costs at the gantry by significant margins. The move is expected to ease fuel costs for consumers and businesses across Nigeria.
According to the latest pricing template issued by the refinery, petrol (PMS) has been reduced by ₦100 per litre, bringing the gantry price down from ₦1,175 to ₦1,075. For coastal supply, petrol will now retail at ₦1,050 per litre, reflecting a minor adjustment for maritime distribution expenses.
In a similar adjustment, Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) has been lowered by ₦190 per litre, from ₦1,620 to ₦1,430, marking one of the most significant recent reductions in diesel pricing.
The refinery emphasized that these prices exclude additional fees from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), which may apply depending on distribution and regulatory obligations.
