The Kogi State University community has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of a lecturer, Anselm Ahman Victory Ojodomo, who collapsed while delivering a lecture.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Thursday, March 26, 2026, while Ojodomo was addressing students in class. He reportedly slumped midway through the lecture, prompting an immediate response from those present.
He was quickly attended to and rushed to a medical facility for emergency treatment. However, despite efforts to revive him, he was later confirmed dead.
The tragic development has sparked an outpouring of grief among students and colleagues, many of whom took to social media to pay tribute to the late lecturer.
He has been widely described as a dedicated academic known for his strength, wisdom and commitment to teaching.
His passing marks a significant loss to the university community, leaving behind colleagues, students and loved ones in deep sorrow.
