Nigerian disc jockey DJ Tunez has stirred fresh speculation online following a cryptic post on X, days after his widely publicised altercation with Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Burna Boy.
The incident, which occurred at Obi’s House in Lagos a popular weekly Afrobeats gathering quickly went viral after videos surfaced showing both entertainers exchanging punches during a heated confrontation.
In the immediate aftermath, DJ Tunez took to social media to defend himself, alleging he was outnumbered during the clash. He claimed he was attacked from behind and had to stand his ground against multiple individuals.
“This guy Burna Boy showed signs of weakness. You hit me from behind without warning… it was one against ten, and I still held my own,” he wrote at the time.
Burna Boy appeared to respond shortly after with a subtle but mocking gesture. In a video shared online, the singer was seen dancing to DJ Tunez’s track Money Constant, theatrically falling mid-performance an act widely interpreted as a jab at the DJ.
However, the tension may be far from over. On Tuesday, DJ Tunez returned to X with a cryptic statement that has since sparked widespread debate among fans:
“For every reaction, there is an equal or greater reaction!”
