Nigerian content creator Peller has sparked online reactions after weighing in on a viral clip of veteran media personality Roby Ekpo, who broke down while speaking about the end of his 11-year marriage.
In a livestream response, Peller expressed surprise at Ekpo’s emotional display, stating that he could not see himself reacting similarly over a relationship.
“Guys, see this man… this man is crying because of a woman,” he said. “Me, God forbid I cry for such again.”
Reflecting on his own past experiences, Peller suggested that his outlook on relationships has changed, insisting he has moved beyond emotional vulnerability tied to romantic issues.
“I can’t cry for love again. I have better things to do with my life,” he added.
Ekpo’s emotional moment, which has circulated widely on social media, has drawn mixed reactions, with some sympathising with his openness, while others debate societal expectations around emotional expression among men.
