Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has advised men not to remain in marriages or relationships where they feel disrespected.
In a post shared on X on Wednesday, the actor described respect as non-negotiable for men in relationships and urged them to stop tolerating what he termed disrespectful behaviour from their partners.
According to Edochie, men should prioritise mutual respect in their relationships and be willing to walk away from unions where that standard is absent.
“Men stop tolerating nonsense in the name of marriage or relationship. If your wife or girlfriend doesn’t respect you, dump her immediately and get someone who respects you,” he wrote.
The actor’s remarks have since sparked conversations online over relationship expectations, respect, and marital dynamics.
