Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has revealed that he recently donated ₦10.2 million to people in need, describing the gesture as his personal form of tithe.
Speaking in an interview with Broadway TV, the actor explained that the amount represents 10 per cent of the ₦102 million he recently earned from movie roles.
According to him, the decision to give directly to the less privileged stems from his personal beliefs, as he does not attend church or subscribe to the traditional practice of paying tithe through religious institutions.
“Not to brag, but I am the richest actor. Recently, I realised I made about ₦102 million from acting fees. I gave ₦10.2 million 10 per cent of it to people on the streets,” he said.
Zubby Michael added that while he believes in giving, he prefers to channel his contributions directly to those in need rather than through the church.
