Eseoghene Obire, popularly known as XXSive, has resigned from his position as an aide to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, describing the move as one of the most difficult decisions of his life.
In a video announcing his resignation, XXSive stated that his decision was not politically motivated and had no connection to current political developments in the state. He explained that he was stepping down for personal reasons, which he chose not to disclose publicly.
Displaying a copy of his resignation letter, the former aide expressed gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for the opportunity to serve. He said he would remain appreciative of the trust placed in him and maintained that Delta State remains on a positive path under the governor’s leadership.
XXSive also voiced confidence in Oborevwori’s ability to continue advancing the state’s development agenda. He thanked several political leaders, colleagues, and members of the administration who supported him during his time in office, acknowledging their contributions to his experience in government.
Despite his departure from office, XXSive reaffirmed his loyalty to the governor and his affection for Delta State and its people. He concluded his remarks by thanking the governor once again for the opportunity to serve and offered prayers for the continued progress and prosperity of the state.
