The Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced that the airlift of intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj will commence on Friday, May 9, and conclude on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
Executive Secretary of the Board, Imam Ibrahim, made this known on Wednesday during the closing ceremony of the Bita Centre training held at Baba Sidi Primary School in Bauchi metropolis.
He confirmed that all necessary preparations, including the reservation of yellow cards for pilgrims, have been completed, and urged intending pilgrims to cooperate fully with the board throughout the journey.
Ibrahim commended the teachers and leaders of the Baba Sidi Bita Centre for their dedication, noting that their contributions are vital to ensuring a smooth and successful Hajj exercise.
He also revealed that a total of 2,350 intending pilgrims have been registered by the state so far.
