Businessman Olakunle Churchill has made a public statement on family priorities amid reports that his wife, actress Rosy Meurer, has filed for the dissolution of their marriage.
The development comes days after Rosy was reportedly said to have filed for divorce on Monday, April 20, a move that also saw both parties unfollow each other on Instagram, further fuelling speculation about a breakdown in their union.
Churchill and Meurer, who tied the knot in 2021, share two children together.
In a post shared via his Instagram Story, Churchill issued a firm declaration about his stance as a father, writing that his children would always come first in any difficult situation.
“As a father, if I’m ever in a place where I have to pick between my kids or anyone/anything else… I’m picking my kids,” he wrote, reinforcing his position on parental responsibility amid the ongoing rumours surrounding his marriage.
