Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Tuesday appeared before the Federal High Court in Kaduna for arraignment over alleged corruption-related offences.
El-Rufai is being prosecuted by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission alongside one Joel Adoga.
According to the charges, the former governor is accused of abuse of office, fraud, money laundering, and the conversion of public property.
In addition to the ongoing proceedings, a separate case involving similar allegations has also been filed against him at the Kaduna State High Court, further compounding his legal challenges.
